Yuriy was visiting Canada and the University of Alberta. He wanted to visit an "Aboriginal school" and we were thrilled to be chosen!

One of the countries that the Grade 3's learn about in their NEW Social Studies curriculum, is the Ukraine.

It was a VERY BIG thrill to have Yuriy visit us!

When he visited, he was given a Ukrainian greeting, he listened to us sing a song, he heard us pray in CREE, and he was given handmade Native souvenirs from his visit with us.
