The following are prayers written to begin the ADVENT season of 1999.

Some of these prayers were chosen to be read for the school's daily prayer, on the intercom.

Father,
Thank you for giving us this special time of Advent, to learn of the great blessing we are about to receive from you.
Be with my students and their families, as we prepare together, for the coming of your Son, Jesus Christ.
Help us, to feel your support each day, to make the right choices, to be caring towards each other and to be thankful for the many ways you bless us with your LOVE.

Lord hear our prayer.
Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for us.
Thank you for giving us shelter, food and water.
Thank you for being there.
Thank you for making us healthy.

God is the creator, who taught us right and wrong.
Thank you Lord for all you give, for the things we need to live.
Now we start Advent.

These help us remember God the Father.
