Michael did not actually come to our school to visit... but we were invited to meet with him... at the Edmonton Public Library in our school's neighbourhood.

Michael took time to talk to us about himself, his family, and what it is like living 'up north'.

Before reading to us from his book, he told us a story that his grandmother always used to tell him, when he was a boy.

The book that Michael chose to read to us, was the story that Robert Munsch helped him to create...
"A Promise is a Promise".

At the end of our visit, Michael autographed his books for us and posed for pictures with us.

We'll never forget meeting this interesting author!
