The following thank you's were written by our class, before we left for the Christmas 2000 holidays!

Through the generosity and kind hearts of members of the St. Lucy School Family, ALL our elementary students were given a 'surprise package' from SANTA, on the second last day of school before the Christmas Break! This is the second year in a row that these people have done this for our kids!

We hope you find these sincere words of appreciation, to be our way of showing you just how much your acts of kindness have meant to all of us, in the Ben Calf Robe School Family!

SANTA,
On behalf of all the staff and families of Ben Calf Robe School, let me extend our deepest gratitude for your generous spirit and compassionate heart!

You cannot know what we all felt, to see our students bubbling over with excitement, when they received and opened their gifts! ALL the gifts were bursting open to smiles, shrieks of joy and boundless thankfulness. The packages were filled to the top...with the students' favorite things!

The true meaning of Christmas is to GIVE and NOT to RECEIVE...and you must know that you have truly fulfilled this deed.

God bless you always. You are living JESUS...in your many acts of kindness and love.

Kara's Thank you for the present you gave me for Christmas. I really liked the body soap, but I traded it. At my old school, they didn't do that (trade). I know that you spent a lot of money on the presents, but don't worry…we all were happy with what we got (even if we traded some of the things with our friends).
